[She thinks about it, twirling her bracelet in her hands for several long minutes after she leaves the palace. But she figures he'll find out eventually anyways. And he took away her control, so she'll just take it right back.]

[After all, it's just dying. Like that was anything new. So her face when she greets the video with a smile]

[It's a complete lie, but she'd much rather he think that. Clearly nothing can backfire with her clever plan.]

[He had been in his room after what had happened, nursing his wounds after taking his coat off to examine them. Yes, her bite had broken the skin, and he's just finishing up the latest touches on the bandage on them, trying to keep the liquid from seeping out. If only Pendroz were here- he would fix him up in minutes. But a wound was a wound, and he couldn't let that bother him.]

[Still distracted by what had happened that night, he hears the bracelet giving off the sound that a message has been sent to his inbox, and he wanders over to take a look, not bothering to put his coat back on. He doesn't quite know how the inbox works, so he just turns it on, expecting to read a message or something instead of engaging in conversation.]

[What he sees, though makes him stiffen in shock. No. It couldn't be her. And yet here she was, grinning as if nothing had happened.]

...What is this.

[And the dam in his head breaks, and all at once the thoughts rush into his head, trying to figure out what in God's name is going on. It can't be her. And yet it is. And she's alive OH GOD SHE'S ALIVE.]

[Don't mind him, Diva, he is just going to stand here shirtless with the world's most disapproving look ever. Because this is definitely not what he was expecting.]

[Ok, that answering machine message was just a little weird, but she supposed he was supposed to be an angel, so this isn't exactly the sort of thing that would necessarily make sense to him per se.

The image is of her, horns quite visible. She's given up on the hat thing at this point. It's mostly futile anymore. She's seated in a chair in what looks like a diner and has a very serious, though thankfully not embittered look on her face.]

Cheriour was it? I think we've spoken once before. It's Samantha if you don't remember me. Your name was given to me by someone I trust as a person I could talk to about a problem I have, and a possible way I might be able to help some people.
